Plan of Salvation:
"For all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
Each and every one of
us are sinners and by being a sinner we cannot
come close to God
or have fellowship with Him.
"For the Wages of sin is death, but
the free gift of God is eternal life in Chirst Jesus our Lord."
Romans 6:23
If we do not receive
the free gift of salvation from God, we will be
destined to spend eternity
away from God, which means
eternal damnation in
the lake of fire, or hell.
"But God demonstrated His own love toward
us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
As in John
3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosoever
believees in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life."
God gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we would
have the means to live
eternally in heaven with Him and Jesus in
unfathomable peace and
joy.
"That if you confess iwth your mouth
Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you shall be saved." Romans 10:9
It is as
simple as ABC:
Admit that you are a sinner.
Believe that Christ died for our sins and
rose from the dead.
Confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior and you will be saved.
Pray the prayer of salvation
Dear God,
I know that Jesus is your Son,
and that He died on the cross
and was raised from the dead.
I know I have sinned and need forgiveness.
I am willing to turn from my sins
and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord.
Take control of my life
and make me the kind of person
you want me to be.
Amen.
